- Cut salmon into pieces season with salt and pepper, set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserving some cooking water.
- While the pasta is cooking, cut zucchini into half-moons.
- Heat a non-stick pan with oil. Crush garlic clove and add to oil to flavor, about a minute. Add zucchini, salt, and pepper and sauté for 10 minutes, add in basil leaves.
- In a new pan, heat some oil and cook salmon for 2-3 minutes on each side or to preferred temperature.
- Add pasta and zucchini to the pan with salmon, add reserved cooking water and heavy cream.
- Plate the dish and finish with a grind of black pepper and fresh basil. Serve immediately.
